ギャラリーで働いていた経験を活かした情報を発信し、 作家や作品を通して、現代アートを身近に感じられるようなご提案をしていきます。
搬入とは？
アート作品を展覧会などで展示する時、作品を展示会場へ運び入れる事。
さらに作品を並べ、展示し、会場作りを済ませ、お客様が鑑賞できる準備を整える事をひっくるめて「搬入」として認識しています。
作品は見せ方で表情を変えます。隣り合う作品も影響を与え合うので重要です。
展示の高さ、隣の作品との間隔をどのくらい開けるかでも、その作品の持つ力を活かした鑑賞ができるかどうかの分かれ目です。
作品を活かす展示が出来てくると、会場がその展覧会ならではの空気感に変わります。
だから私は搬入作業が大好きなのですが、なかなか皆様にお見せする機会はありません。
今回7人の作家による グループ展 「百花」 に関わらせて頂き、作家の皆さんの許可を得、搬入作業風景を動画にまとめましたので会場が出来てくる一端をお見せいたします。
どんな風に会場作りをするのか、楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。

【Carry-in work is open to the public】To enjoy the exhibition more! From the 7 artists group exhibition “Hyakka”.
My concept is encounter with the work, to enjoy contemporary art at home.
The information is based on my experience working in a gallery. Through the artists and their works, I’ll be offering suggestions that will make you feel closer to contemporary art.
What is carry-in?
The act of delivering artworks into the exhibition space when they are displayed at an exhibition.
In addition, the process of arranging the works, displaying them, preparing the venue, and making it ready for the audience to view them are all recognized as ” Carry-in.”
A work of art changes its expression depending on how it is presented. Neighboring works are also important because they influence each other.
The height of the display and the distance between the work and its neighbors are also key factors in whether or not you can make the most of the power of the work.
When the works are displayed in a way that makes the most of them, the venue will change into an atmosphere that is unique to the exhibition.
That’s why I love to work on the delivery, but I don’t get a chance to show it to you.
I was involved in the group exhibition “Hyakka” with seven artists, and with the permission of the artists, I made a video of the installation work. Here’s a video of the venue being built.
