すどう美術館企画展のお知らせ

（企画展に寄せてすどう美術館館長須藤一郎さんよりいただいた文章を掲載いたします）

　来たる６月23日（日）より30日（日）まで下記のとおり、すどう美術館企画展「NEW STORY」を開催します。〔26日（水）休廊〕

　すどう美術館が展覧会の開催を始めて30年余となります。その間、世の中も環境も様々な変化を遂げました。しかしアートが人間にとってなくてはならないものである、ということは変わりません。

　現代、そして未来に生きる作品を作家の皆さんが展示できる場を作るとともに、その作品を多くの皆さんに見ていただきたいとの思いでこの展覧会を企画しました。今後も継続していきたいと考えています。

　最終日には作品に囲まれた中で、NHK交響楽団で活躍中の演奏家を中心とする演奏会も計画しております。

　大勢の皆さんのご来場を心からお待ちしています。

　This time, we would like to announce “NEW STORY,” an exhibition planned by Gallery SUDOH.

Announcement of Gallery SUDOH’s exhibition

(The following is a text from Ichiro Sudoh, Director of the Gallery SUDOH, in response to the exhibition.)

　Gallery SUDOH will hold the exhibition “NEW STORY” from June 23 (Sun.) to June 30 (Sun.), 2024. (Closed on Wednesday, June 26).

　It has been more than 30 years since Gallery SUDOH began holding exhibitions. During that time, the world and the environment have undergone many changes. However, the fact remains that art is an indispensable part of human life.

　I have planned this exhibition to create a place where artists can exhibit their works that live in the present and the future, and to have as many people as possible view them. I hope to continue this exhibition in the future.

　On the final day of the exhibition, we are planning to hold a concert featuring musicians who are active in the NHK Symphony Orchestra, surrounded by the artworks.

　I sincerely hope that many of you will be able to attend.
