Mr. Asahina said that this was the culmination of his 25 years as an artist.

Each of his works is different from the others, and I felt that he has been trying to keep in mind “not to imitate myself”.

I had a different impression of each of them, as each work showed the state of being created by facing each other. My head and heart were fully engaged while viewing the works.

The works were displayed one by one with an open space between them and their neighbors, which made for a pleasant exhibition. The exhibition where sculptures and paintings were displayed together in front of my eyes also echoed each other and I was able to see a different aspect of them.

He said the response was the best he had ever received. He is happy that the message is being conveyed, but at the same time he feels conflicted. He also talks about balancing life and production in his podcasts.

I would like to continue to provide opportunities for people to purchase and enjoy the experience of hanging my works in their rooms.

I am discussing with Mr. Asahina about posting small works on the online store. We will do this in the hope that it will reach those who have not seen the exhibition, those who would like to hang artwork in their rooms, and of course, those who have seen the exhibition and become interested in the artwork.
