She incorporates diatomaceous earth and gesso for the base preparation and uses a technique of thin layers of acrylic paint.
What caught my attention at this exhibition was a small pink work, which I felt enhanced the brightness of the overall color palette of the venue.
This piece had an uneven surface and matte texture with beeswax added to the expression.
Due to the limitation of images, the color of each piece is slightly different.
The images do not fully convey the impression one gets when looking at the work in person.
If you have not had the opportunity to view the works at the exhibition, we recommend that you do so when you have the chance.
The larger works look great when hung in a foyer or at the entrance of an apartment building.
The smaller pieces will create a calm atmosphere in a study or bedroom.
In fact, the colors are a little different for each piece.
I realized once again that the best part of confronting a work of art is the impression you get and feel when you see the real thing in front of you.
