銅版画の研究、制作を軸に置き、和紙をコラージュした作品は伊藤さんの代表的な作品。繊細で美しい作品です。

同会場で開催された2022年の個展では油彩、貝のコラージュ作品など新しい試みがありました。今回も鉛筆画に着彩した作品、ミクストメディアの作品等、彼女の表現に対する探究心が見所です。

一貫して印象的なのは「光」。そこには彼女の希望が祈りとして乗っている気がしています。

長く継続している被災地支援はその祈りを行動で示しています。今展覧会の作品の売り上げの一部は、令和6年能登半島地震の支援金として寄付します。

新作が楽しみな展覧会です。

I am pleased to announce the Azusa Ito Exhibition “Shifting Seasons and Remnants of Memories”.

Based on her research and production of copperplate prints, her collage works on Japanese paper are representative of Mrs. Ito’s work. They are delicate and beautiful works.

In her solo exhibition in 2022, held at the same venue, there were new attempts such as oil paintings and shell collage works. This time, too, her exploration of expression is a highlight, with works in pencil with coloring, mixes and media, and more.

Consistently impressive is “light”. I feel that her hope is carried there as a prayer.

Her long-running support for the disaster-affected areas demonstrates this prayer in action. Part of the proceeds from the sales of the works in this exhibition will be donated to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake relief fund in 2024.

We are looking forward to seeing her new works.
