中国四川省で生まれ育ち、中国の文化をバックボーンに持ちながら日本で制作を続けている周さん。色使いやモチーフとなる人鳥は繊細でユニークな感性が現れている。
彼女は家族のために料理を作る中で幻想が動き出し、そこからイマジネーションが広がっていくそうです。
油彩の平面作品、インスタレーション、パフォーマンスアートから彼女の世界観を楽しんで欲しいです。

Born and raised in China’s Sichuan Province, Zhou continues to create in Japan with Chinese culture as her backbone. Her use of color and motifs of human and birds show her delicate and unique sensibility.
She said that her fantasies are set in motion while cooking for her family, and her imagination expands from there.
I hope you enjoy her world view from her two-dimensional oil paintings, installations, and performance art.
