昨年の9月、銀座にある中和ギャラリー（日本橋に移転）で開催された杉本裕子さんの展覧会を見てきました。
展示作品は、ユーモアがあり見ていて楽しくなる作品が多い中、心を揺さぶられるような鋭い作品もありました。
今回の展覧会は、知人から展覧会の情報を得ました。
展覧会の情報を知るときは、［個展なび］［新聞］［美術雑誌］［ギャラリーガイド銀座］［facebook］［Instagram］などの中から得ます。
展覧会に行くとギャラリーには芳名帳があり、そこに住所を書くと作家さんから次の展覧会のDMが届くこともあります。
さて、作品を見にいく開催日まで指折り数えワクワクします。「どんな作品があるのかな〜」
会場で作品を前にすると、気持ちの良い裏切りがあり、想像していた感じと違う作品に「あ〜来てよかった〜」
気に入った作品が購入できる価格だったので、と言うより杉本さんの値段設定は誰もが気兼ねなく気に入ったら購入できる価格になっています。
思わず2点購入してしまう。
私は3人の子育て真っ只中にいるため、使える金額はあまりありません。
ですから作品は欲しくても買えない時が多々あります。
「我慢がまん」と言い聞かせています。
しかし、「我慢が効かない！」と言う作品に出会う時があります。
その時が私の買い時です。
皆さんにも自分の基準となる気持ちのバロメーターがあるかと思います。
作品を購入するときは、それに忠実に従います。
「これは逃してはならん。」「今出会えたことに感謝。」
そのような気持ちで迎えた作品たちです。
我が家にお嫁入りした作品は、キッチンでお湯を沸かしながら、料理を作りながら、洗濯物を畳みながら、毎日楽しんでいます！（家事ばかりですね）
始めは階段を上がった廊下に掛けていました。
今はキッチンに掛けています。
展覧会の楽しさをお家に繋げてずーっと楽しむことが、作品購入の良さです。

The Sentiment of Going to See an Exhibition “At the Exhibition of Yuko Sugimoto”
Last September, I visited Yuko Sugimoto solo exhibition at Chuwa Gallery in Ginza (relocated to Nihonbashi).
While many of the exhibited works were humorous and fun to look at, there were also some sharp pieces that were heartbreaking.
I got information about this exhibition from an acquaintance who informed me about the exhibition.
When I get information about an exhibition, I get it from [solo exhibition navi] [newspapers] [art magazines] [facebook] [Instagram] and so on.
When you go to an exhibition, the gallery will have a guest book, and if you write your address in the book, the artist may send you a DM for the next exhibition.
By the way, I am excited to count down my fingers until the day of the exhibition when I will see the works. “I wonder what kind of artwork will be there.”
When I saw the work in front of me at the venue, I was pleasantly betrayed, and the work was different from what I had imagined, making me say, “Oh, I’m so glad I came!”
I would say that it was a price at which I could purchase the pieces I liked, and Sugimoto’s pricing is such that anyone can purchase them if they like them without any hesitation.
I can’t help but buy two items.
I am in the midst of raising three children and do not have much money to spend.
So there are many times when I want a piece but can’t afford it.
I tell myself, “Patience is patience.
But there are times when I come across a piece that says, “I can’t stand it!”
That’s when I buy the pieces.
I am sure everyone has their own barometer of feelings that they use as their standard.
When I buy a piece, I follow my feelings to the letter.
“This is not to be missed.” “Thank goodness we met now.”
These works were welcomed with such a feeling.
The pieces that have come into our home are enjoyed every day in the kitchen, while boiling water, cooking, and folding laundry! (It’s all housework, isn’t it?)
At first it hung in the hallway at the top of the stairs.
Now it hangs in the kitchen.
