今回の動画は、ギャラリーで作品を購入する方法を、5つのステップでお伝えします。
ステップ 1 ゆっくり、1周見てみよう！
まずは、全体をゆっくり見ながら1周します。
1つ1つの作品、タイトルから、何で描かれているのか、色の重なり、どんなことを思って描くのか、どんなモチーフなのか？ 近づいたり、離れたりしながら、思い思いに想像を膨らませ、鑑賞してみましょう。
ステップ 2 お気に入りを1つ決めよう！
全体から何点か気になる作品を見つけ、もう1度その作品の前に行き、よく見ます。
買う、買わないに関わらず、その中で1点、自分の家のどこかに掛けるイメージをしてみましょう。
ステップ 3 作家と話そう！
ギャラリーでは、作家が在廊している場合が多いので、話をしてみるのもおススメです！
作品について思わぬ発見があり、また違う視点から作品を楽しむことが出来る。
これは、ギャラリーでの展覧会ならではの醍醐味！
人柄に惹かれ、応援したくなる作家が数多くいますよ。
ステップ 4 購入手続きの仕方！
作品を購入する場合、ギャラリーの方に「この作品を購入したいので、お願いします。」と伝えると手続きをしてくれます。
現金、カード、分割、振り込み、いづれかでお支払いできますので、ギャラリーの方に確認してみてください。
購入された作品のキャプションには、赤シールが貼られます。（赤いピンを指している所もある）
展覧会に行ったら、赤シール、チェックしてみてくださいね。

価格は高いと感じる場合もありますが、最近は絵が売れない時代と言われていることもあり、比較的低めの価格設定のギャラリーや作家さんも増えています。
しかし、ある程度高い作品も、1点の作品に費やす時間、労力、精神を考慮すると妥当と思える価格だと思います。
ただ、法外に高いものにはご注意ください。私がこのブログに記載している、良心的なギャラリーばかりではない可能性についても十分にご考慮いただきたい。
ステップ 5 作品の受け取り！
購入した作品は、会期が終わるまで展示されています。
会期後、送ってもらう、若しくはギャラリーへ受け取りに行きます。
重いものは、送ってもらった方が無難です。
軽いものは、次の展覧会を見に行くついでに、受け取りに行くのもいいですね。
1人でも多くの方が、1点でも作品を持ち、お家で現代アートを楽しんでいただけると嬉しいです。

①美術館と違い、ギャラリーに入場券はありません。
無料で出入りできる！
②購入を全く考えていなくても、自由にみていい！
休日にギャラリー巡りなんて、素敵ですね。

③価格は、キャプションに書いてある！
キャプションとは、作品の下にある、タイトルや、作品の情報が記された小さな四角いもの。

【video】How to purchase artworks in the gallery ・5 steps.
My concept is encounter with the work, to enjoy contemporary art at home.
The information is based on my experience working in a gallery.

This video will show you how to buy artworks in the gallery in five steps.
Step 1 Let’s take a slow look around!
First, take your time to go around the entire area.
From the title of each work, what is it painted with, how the colors overlap, what is the artist thinking about, what is the motif? As you approach or move away from the work, let your imagination run wild and try to appreciate it.
Step 2 You try to select one of your favorites!
Find a few pieces from the entire collection that interest you, and go back to them to take a closer look.
Regardless of what you buy or don’t buy, try to imagine hanging one of those items somewhere in your home.
Step 3 You can conversation with the artist!
In many cases, the artists are present in the gallery, so I suggest you talk to them!
You will discover unexpected things about the work and enjoy it from a different perspective.
It’s a unique way to enjoy an exhibition in a gallery!
There are many artists whose personalities attract you and make you want to support them.
Step 4 How to complete the purchase process!
When you want to buy a piece of art, tell the gallery staff,” I would like to buy this piece.”
You can pay in cash, by credit card, in installments, or by bank transfer, so please check with the gallery staff.
A red sticker will be placed on the caption of the purchased work. (In some places they point to a red pin.)
When you go to the exhibition, check out the red stickers, please.

Although the prices may seem high, there are an increasing number of galleries and artists who offer relatively low prices, partly because it is said that it is difficult to sell paintings these days.
However, even works that are somewhat expensive seem to have a reasonable price considering the time, effort, and spirit that goes into each piece.
However, please be careful of those that are prohibitively expensive. Please take into consideration the possibility that not all galleries are conscientious, which I have mentioned in this blog.
Step 5 How to receive the work you bought!
Purchased works will be on display until the end of the exhibition.
After the exhibition, you can have them sent to you or pick them up at the gallery.
If the item is heavy, it is safer to have it sent to you.
For lighter items, you can pick them up on your way to see the next exhibition.
I hope that as many people as possible will have one of artworks and enjoy contemporary art at home.
